VIGDIS is a four part drama-series based on the inspiring true story of the first woman in the world to be democratically elected president. The series tells Vigdis' story from when she was a teenager in the late 1940s up until she decides to run for president against three male candidates in 1980. Vigdis carries the aura of a winner, someone that has always succeeded without difficulty but the opposite is true in Vigdis' life.
